Zappia, Joseph Born on April 13, 1951, age 64, of Dunnellion, Florida, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on October 9, 2015 from a heart attack. Beloved son of the late Joseph Zappia and the late Elizabeth Zappia;loving father to Joseph Zappia Jr. and the late Kimberly Zappia; loving grandfather to Michael Itter; dear brother to Barbara Sciaraffa, Linda Proudfoot and the late John Zappia. Joseph was an over the road truck driver and owned his own business for many years before retiring to Florida. Joe was known for his quick wit and his love of animals, especially his beloved Cory and Brandy. Services will be private. Please donate to your favorite animal shelter in his name.
