Joe you became my dad when I was 12 yrs old in 1980....though you married my mom in 1987, you were always trying to make us laugh, you told all of us; Nancy, Anne and Peter that we could come to you whenever we needed, you would always be there for us in good and bad times. You brought stability to our family. You always wanted to surprise us; I remember one morning you woke us all up and said we needed our bathing suits, towels etc and to get in the car asap! That was at 5:00am, off went to spent the day all the Wisconsin Dells. We had so much fun and on the way home we passed out. That was the start of a yearly right of passage, every year a few weeks before we had to return to school after the summer break-we'd be off-to either the Indiana Dunes and later the we'd go to the Warren Dunes in Michigan.

Love You Dad, I miss you and my heart,
Your daughter, Jennifer

We will miss Mr. Todaro. Always bringing interesting stories to his appointments. It saddens my heart that he is no longer with us but I am glad I've met a very generous kind person whom I will keep in my memory.

I was saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I worked with Joey in 025 and knew him to be a good "copper ". He had a great personality, and was almost too nice to be a P.O. He was the kind of man most people hoped would show up when they dialed 911. he was truly one of "Chicago's Finest " Requiescat en pace Joe !
