Another 2 years flew by since my last post. Still think about you and what we would be doing today. Remember "Don't break my leg" and the "Fungo Bat" we laugh so hard we cried. Miss you brother...

Well Brother, 13 years later and I'm still having crazy dreams of old times. I guess I'll have to wait for the afterlife so we can get together and have those "ol seeds a poppin" and compare the potholes in our T-shirts and blasting some Warren Zevon. Truly miss the good times we had.

I never really knew how fast a year passed, until today. I can't believe you've been gone this long, it feels as if it was yesterday. The gloomy skies, rain, and shine of the wet asphalt today made it hard to leave the house. I miss to much to list and hate the fact that it had to be you.
I love you Uncle Joe- My #1

Joey, we never signed this guest book, but want you to know that this Christmas will not be the same without you. You know that according to Warren, we are not only keeping you in our hearts for a while, but keeping you packaged tightly with a red, white & blue ribbon that extends from the alpha to the omega. We miss you so much it hurts. Merry Christmas and help us make this new year a better one. OK, you promise? We are real proud of you. ALL WE R SAYING...IS GIVE PEACE A CHANCE.

8-21-2007 was the anniversary of Joes 50th birthday. I went by his roadside memorial and my spirits were lifted by the birthday "gifts" that others left. It's good to know that the memories of Joe live on.

The first time I met Joe, Cary and I were just married. We were moving out of our old apartment in Justice and couldn't get the couch out. Joe tied a rope to one end and went downstairs and said "just push it over and hold on i'll guide it down". We were on the third floor. From that moment I knew he was crazy and I was glad I was part of his family. As an adult I can deal with Joe's passing every day but my youngest son Elijah at least once a day asks when is he coming back. This is the hardest part. The other day as we were driving and he was in the back seat crying I asked why, he told me the star he is looking at is Uncle Joe shining for him, that hurts the most. See you when I see you.

Here is the picture of Joe that was recently put on one of Mahoney's storage trailers. A few can't face it, but this TRUE brother has no problem. Brother Joe you are truly missed and will be "Always with Me"

I feel truly blessed to have known Joe. Having the opportunity to experience Joe and all that he was as a person is one of life's special gifts. Every contact with Joe seemed to bring a feeling of happiness to my heart and a smile to my face. It just felt good to be around Joe Suski. I will never forget you Joe! "That is All"

To know a man with such depth of character has been my blessing. Joe Suski was a friend to many as the hundreds who showed up at his Memorial service demonstrated. I bet many more would have liked to pay tribute to Joes greatness. Joe proved that honesty , integrity and hard work gave rewards far beyond what met the eye. He was not a fake. He remained true to his word and lived his life without compromise. I always told him "You have the music in you" He knew I was not just referring to his knowledge of music titles and artists. (No one could beat him at that game). I was relating that music was his way of connecting with life and it's many travails. Joe could see himself and others in a song .Music soothes the soul and Joe shared his tunes. God took Joe but he left his music.
Never forgotten Brother.

I was shocked to hear the news of my former boss & friend. I wish I could have been there to honor him, and to give my condolences to his family. Viola I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for Joe almost 10 years ago. He was an awsome person, friend and boss. He loved talking about his motorcycle, his adventures, his trips to the bars. I will never forget you Joe.

Joe was always such a great friend. The kind of guy that every man aspires to be, and can only hope to attain. He was always willing to lend a hand or brighten your day by telling a hilarious story. I saw Joe, for the last time, a few weekends ago. We were at Uncle Richie’s and he was telling us another 'classic Joe story’ about the dilemma ensued when he was fishing and had to take a dump. If you knew Joe, then you know these funny stories, we were roaring with laughter. He told the story with such enthusiasm; you never knew what was next! This is how I will remember Joe; funny, friendly, just a great guy. We’ll miss ya Joe, I'll never forget you.

I can't believe it's already been a week since you've been gone. Your service was beautiful. At first seeing all of the Harley's lined up really got to me, then I realized this is the way you would want it. So many people and friends that love you attended.
I know you were a safe, smart rider and wouldn't do anything different than you've been doing throughout all your years of riding. You've been on that road plenty of times. It's hard enough to let things rest as it is, but not knowing the facts makes it even harder. I just don't understand.. I love and miss you very much Unce Joe.

To my brother from another Mother. Its still hard not to see you standing by your stereo and asking me "who sang this song" I was never good at that game. Now who's going to call me "Big Bill Hill". Only we know why you called me that. You were one of the good guys, helped me during tough times and never asked for anything in return. Joe, I love you brother and you will truely be missed. I will look after Viola and be there for her ANYTIME. Until we meet again. Your Brother, Todd

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
