Slowinski, Joseph A. Army Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of the late LaVerne (nee Ptacin), loving and treasured dad of Deborah, Dawn (Thomas) Gasior, Denise Slowinski (William Garrity), and Deneen Slowinski-Harris (Scott), proud grandfather of Daniel, Aimee, Sara, Nathan Gasior and Amanda and Melissa Harris, very loving son of the late Albert and Lottie Slowinski, son -in-law of Theresa Nemecek, dearest brother of Eugene (Val) Piontek, and the late Walter (Adele) Slowinski, brother-in-law of Patricia (the late Robert) Torphy, also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Funeral Friday, 9:45 a.m. from Ridge Funeral Home, Ken Operzedek & Son Craig Directors, 6620 W. Archer Ave. (corner of Natoma), to St. Symphorosa Church, Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Donations to Scleroderma Foundation.
