Burial will be in Darlington Memory Gardens Cemetery, directed by Young and Young Funeral Home.
Mr. Parlor, 81, died Friday, July 25, 2003, in Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center after an illness.
He was born in Denmark, S.C., son of the late Ben and Hanna Parler.
He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Doric Masons Lodge #4 in Bridgeport, Conn.
Surviving are his wife Eliza-beth Swinney Parler of Harts-ville; one God daughter, Tanya E. Shaw of Florence; one God son, Melvin Mebane of Bridgeport, Conn; one dear nephew, Harry Johnson of Denmark; and a host of nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 617 Flicker Lane, Hartsville.
