Nowaczyk, Joseph "Fix'em Joe", age 77, of Lyons, formerly of Cicero, IL. WWII Army Vet., beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Wyroslak), loving father of Joseph (Nancy), Lenore (Chris) Szydlo and the late Michael, cherished grandfather of Anna, Michael and Ryan, fond brother of Theo (Tess), late Florian, John, Chester, Therese Kurley, Marcella Stevens, many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. Funeral services Wednesday, December 13, 2006, 9 a.m., from Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 S. Joliet Ave. (but not Joliet Road-between Harlem and First Ave., just South of Ogden Ave.), Lyons, IL, to St. Hugh Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Former member of Cicero Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Cancer Society, appreciated. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m., Tuesday. Info 708-447-7900.
