Dear Joe
I know that you are in a good place right now and that you will have the chance to read this.
I was so saddened to read that you had moved on to the world to come. My childhood on Washington Street is filled with so many great memories of you and Iz and your kids. In fact, just a few weeks ago I was in town with my wife and kids and brought them all to see where I had grown up. I wish that you could have been there and would have had the chance to meet Rachel, Noah, and Aaron.
What would the summer have been without you sitting talking with the neighbors on your front lawn?
What would my childhood have been without seeing thr big Cadillacs that you and Iz used to drive?
How can I forget Iz always tanning in the sun?
You and Iz were always so kind to my family and you were a true mensch. This world will truly miss you but be assured that you left the world a much better place than you found it.
May your children and family be comforted by G-d and may your memory always and forever be for a blessing. I will truly miss you.

There will never another couple like Joe and Isabelle. Till this day, I think back so often of how much fun it was growing up with the Levi famliy. Their back door being twenty feet from ours. Isabelle, Joe and all the others on their lawn chairs nightly. Going for coffee at the greek restaurant on Milwaukee. The memories of our semi annual picnics with food galore, card games, swimming, the park, laughs, softball with my dad Rudy, and Joe as captains. Although Robin and I were always the last ones chosen, and often never touched the ball throughout the entire game, those times were the best of times.
I'm so lucky to have known Joe and Isabelle Levi. I loved them and will miss them.
May God continue to watch over Robin, Scott, Mitchell, Marla, the Levi family and all thier loved ones.
My best,
Lynn (Riotto) Jovan
