The thing we will always remember about Joe is his smile. He always seemed to be smiling. He was just a happy guy. Everyone who knew Joe will miss him but no one will forget him. God Bless Joe.

It is obvious that Joe touched so many people---he had that way about him. Joe will not be forgotten, but remembered in a fond light. They always say things happen for a reason, yet it is difficult to understand what the reason could possibly be for Joe to leave us so early. By the number of people he touched, it is clear that Joe's reason for having been here was to be that great example and friend to all. We'll miss you Joe Kaz!

I thought we were too young to look in the obituaries for classmates, but this is a sad reminder of how fragile life is. Joe was always just a nice, quiet guy, ready with a smile, or something to make you laugh. He will be missed by many, but remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know him. God bless you Joe!

"We call that person who has lost his father, an orphan; and a widower that man who has lost his wife. But that man who has known the immense unhappiness of losing a friend, by what name do we call him? Here every language is silent and holds its peace in impotence."
-Joseph Roux
The loss of a friend is never easy. The pain never leaves, it simply becomes different. Take care Joe

High school seems like so long ago, and though our paths have not crossed many times since then, Joe Kaz will always be a great guy in our eyes! There are always certain people who though they may not be in our lives the longest they leave a lasting impression, Joe is one who made a lasting impression. Thanks for the memories!

Joe had a great gift for being a friend. He taught the lessons on how to be a great friend to my son Noel and was a brilliant example to Noel's brothers.
To Joe, life was simple, like with his dog who ate everything. After the dog ate some computer cables and Noel's glasses, I asked Joe, "What are you going to do with that dog." Joe just smiled like he always did and said, "He doesn't eat my stuff."
Joe was the kind of guy if your car had a flat and you were stuck on a road hundreds of miles away, you know you could call him and he would come help.
Good friends are hard to come by. Joe you will be missed, but we appreciate the great examples you left us.

Joe: Thanks for constantly making me laugh. You were always a friend and always hung out with Phil and I. You looked after Noel when he needed it. You were a brother. Me and Benji will raise one up for you.

The Police Department has lost a very good person. Joe was a very kind and sweet person, with a great sense of humor. His disparture from this earth was much too soon.

Was a great guy and a very good friend. We had good times with him whenever we were around him. His presence anywhere he was added life to the occasion. He will greatly be missed by myself and of his friends.
