Henke, Joseph Age 73, of Oak Forest, passed away January 16, 2013. Loving husband of Jeanette Henke; cherished father of Debby (Roy) Johnson of New Lenox, Helene (Bud) Berge of Oak Forest, David (Teresa) Henke, and Roxane (James) Wolfgram of Tinley Park; beloved grandfather of Ryanne (Christopher) Crull, Nicholas Johnson, Lindsey (Sean) Hackney, Christopher Berge, and Timothy Berge; treasured great-grandfather of Bennett, Mira and Declan; dear brother of Theodore (Diane) Henke, Leonard (Linda) Henke, Arlene (Ralph) Sceerey, and Josephine Henke; caring brother-in-law of Joseph (Cathy) Durano and Helen Jaros; adored uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers Neil Henke, Richard Henke, Mitchell Henke, and sister Shirley Henke. Joseph was an avid sports fan and an active member of the VFW Post 450 in Alsip. Nothing was more important to Joseph than his family and friends. He is remembered for his great sense of humor. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 20, 10am-2pm with funeral service at 2pm at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 183rd St., Tinley Park.
