Sandy, Nick & Stephanie,
What a tragic loss! All of us have such wonderful memories of a truly selfless, generous, good man. Joe went out of his way to be good to ALL the kids at baseball, football, basketball and soccer -- not just those playing, but their younger brothers and sisters as well. Those were very happy times, and Joe helped to make them so. Joe was a great man, and he will be missed. God bless you all as you deal with your loss.

Sandy, Nick & Stephanie,
Sandy, it seems like yesterday that you and Joe came to our home in Rochelle when Jeff was born. Chris and I were truly surprised and honored that day. I will never forget Joe's sense of humor, the interaction he always had at the farm with him Mom and Dad....just of lot of good memories that I will always have of him.
We have lost someone special today but know that he is in a better place.
God bless you and all your family.

I am so very sad to hear of Joes death. My boys and I will keep great memories of Joe: coaching baseball and soccer was always more fun with Joe on the bench, he was good to the boys and did his best to keep the other coaches
"level-headed". Joe would do anything for anyone who needed help, he was a generous man with a fun sense of humor.
My condolences to Sandy, Nick and Stephanie. So many people will miss Joe.
My sincere condolences,
Rick Prendergast
