Joseph Douglas Obituary
Joseph Lee Douglas, age 78, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013, and joined his wife, Eva, his 'Sweetheart" and 'Love of his Life'. He centered his life around his family and cherished his times with them. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, watching the news, old western movies, and reading.
Mr. Douglas is survived by his son, Richard L. Douglas; daughters: Susan Jones, Cynthia Kennedy, Karen Brown; sister, Joan Parsons; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Douglas; close friends: David Barrett, Mark Brown, Kellie Douglas, Dee Reeves; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eva Douglas; parents, Stephen and Alda Douglas; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702 from 9:30am-11am followed by a service in celebration of Joseph's life at 11am.
