I didn't find out about Joe's passing until my wife Kathy wondered why we hadn't received one of his humorous emails lately. Joe was a really top notch co-worker, a great mentor and a good social friend when we lived in the Chicago area. Joe also had a terrific sense of humor. Kathy & I will miss him a lot.

I knew Joe thru both dog therapy and our mutual love The Galena Territory. We met up with our dogs several times out in the rolling hills we loved. Joe was a very special and giving man. I was lucky to have known him. My sympathy to the entire family.

I never knew Mr. Bednarz. I read obituaries every day. His made me go back twice. Much older than me, his picture presents an exceptional person. Pictures can say a thousand words, the gentleman must have been very unique. Respectful condolences to Mr. Bednarz´ family. Rp
