Dear Pat: I'm so sorry I didn't get your message in time to attend Joe's memorial service. Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family. I'm shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Sol's best friend and one of my favorite people of all time. I'll call you in a few days, after you've had some time to absorb the sorrow and pain of Joe's absence.
