Not only did i lose an uncle but a best friend that day. everyday i think of him and he will always have a place in my heart. he could make anyone laugh. he is with god in heaven now.

Sorry to hear about your lost to the Bania Family. God be with you at this time.This is from Richard and Carol Walega . Rich is son of Stash and Flo Walega who were dear friends of your Father Sr. Joe Bania and Anastiasa. and lived in Brighton Park. Walega's lived on Albany near Joe and Anatasia. Also, of Bania's tavern on Kedzie of which Stash and Rich(Dickie) knew Mr. Bania Sr. and the fiends there. I am Rich's wife, Carol. We have been to your wedding and you family to ours. Rich's sister is Darlene. Rich's mom, Florence Walega is still with us. Saw this today. God be with you.

Our prayers go out to the Bania children and his family.Joe has been a great neighbor of ours for over 16 years. I'll miss seeing him and talking to him. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Joe is with God in his kingdom now, because it is by dying that we receive enternal life.
