Joseph Anhock Obituary

Anhock, Joseph John (November 22, 1937 to January 19, 2005) aka Jack, Jackie and "Dancin Jack" of Lake Como, WI, passed away January 19, 2005, surrounded by his family at St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee. He was 67. Son of the late Joseph and Rose Anhock of Chicago, brother of Leroy (Rosemary) Anhock and the late Shirley Brogan, father of Jacquelin (Bob, the "Northsider") Mahoney and Keli (Gerardo) Ugalde, grandfather of Benjamin and Hayli Jo York, Jason JoJo, Joseph and Jessica Ugalde, beloved uncle to Donna (Craig) Bartz, Jim (Deb) Anhock, Karen (Bill) Judge, Mike (Pat) Anhock, Sharon (Paul) Kearney, Jay Anhock and Joseph Anhock, dear friend of Ron and Kathleen Wrona, Red Quinn, Glenn Davis, Rodney Brown, Gary (Crow) Lyons, Robert Crader and many, many more. He was most proud to be a United State's Marine (never retired, always a Marine) and faithful member and Treasurer of the Marine Corp League - Fox River Detachment, Burlington, WI. Member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Lake Geneva, WI. His best times were spent bragging about the Marine Corp, being with his buddies and family, hunting, listening to blues, dancing to good music and telling great stories to anyone who would listen. He was always there for his friends and family. Jack will be truly missed but always remembered. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 24, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2825 W. 81st St., Chicago. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL. Friends may call at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, WI., Sunday, January 22, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Info. 262-248-2320
