My deepest sympathies to the Depre family. Joe has been a part of my life since I was born. He was best friends with my grandfather Matt Strahl and we spent many vacations together fishing in Minnesota. Joe was a great man and always so good to everyone! I always loved listening to Joe talk and to this day our family still repeats a saying that Joe coined many years ago! My heartfelt love and sympathy to the entire Depre family. I know he is reunited with Mary and my grandparents in heaven!!

My Parents and Joe & Mary were lifelong friends. We spent many vacations together in Mn and have many wonderful memories of times shared together. Whenever we visited them at their house in Oak Lawn, Joe insisted that we stay for a bite to eat, and then would spread out his latest smoked sausage or venisen, and Mary would provide a hoemade delight. We will miss Joe, as we have missed Mary, but we can see them in Photos, and Movies taken over many years. I am sure that they have been reunited with Matt & Barbara telling fish stories. Our deepest sympothies go out to all the family. Bob & Barb DeFries from Wyoming.

I will always remember Uncle Joe, he took us fishing on Lake Michigan in his boat and taught us to catch perch and how to clean and eat them for dinner. Thanks for the memories of the summer cottage in Michigan with him and Aunt Mary, cousin Liz, John and Tony. God bless you for the good times we shared there.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. Joe was such a special person and I have so many wonderful memories of the times at the cottage and visits between our families both in Canada and Chicago. I'm so happy he and my Mom had so many good times together in their last years. He will be missed.

Love Terry
