Jose Irizarry Obituary

Irizarry, Jose Luis "Tito" November 3, 1963 - May 5, 2015. Jose "Tito" Luis Irizarry, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on May 5, 2015. Although an unexpected passing, Cinco de Mayo was at the very least an appropriate date as Tito always enjoyed celebrating all festivities alongside the company of good friends. Growing up in Chicago, Tito enjoyed many traditions. From delicious Puerto Rican food, to outdoor events, music, and sports. He enjoyed traveling and the occasional bet at the track, but most importantly, Tito was a full-time Chicago Bears fan and he never failed to express his enthusiasm for the team. Jose's smile made others around him smile, his laugh was contagious. He lived life present in each moment. He is loved and will be missed, but most importantly he will be celebrated. Services: Monday, May 18, 2015, 7:00p.m. at New Life Community Church Portage Park.

Never going to forget about you cousin. Still miss you every day, you were like a brother from another mother. You missed the CUBS winning the World Series and your niece's nephews getting so big. I sincerely hope you're watching over all of us and spending time with our past loved ones. Theres comfort in knowing that our bodies are made up of atoms and molecules that are considered energy. Energy can't ever be destroyed; it just gets released. Scientists a few years back discovered that 1 atom and exist in two places at one time. So, I hope your energy is still lingering around us. I hope you hear me when I talk to you often all the time. We will all meet again one day as all of us must take the greatest unknown adventure and pass away ourselves. It's just still not fair that you left us way to soon. You were really loved and cared for even if you may not have really thought so. I tried so hard to help you when I finally got stable and money and a place of my own, I wanted you to move in with me so I could've helped you in any way I could've. However, what's done is done, I just really you were taken from us to soon because God needed an electrician. This Budweiser is for you Tito. I'll always love you. Hope you're able to keep up with sports wherever your energy is.

P.S. If I do an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), please come through so I could at least hear a small tad bit of your voice.

I love you tito, i think about you all the time and i would like nothing more than to have a beer with you and talk. I still read your text messages and finally saw your girlfriend and told her you passed away. She cried so much. Please be the first to greet me in heaven when my time comes. Youre love and i love you.
