Brannstrom, Jon Joseph age 52, of Evanston, beloved son of Hilding and the late Joyce Brannstrom (nee Lemirand), loving brother of David (Donna), Bruce (Elizabeth), Michael (Sandi), Hilding (Sherri), Lee (Helen) and Alan (Barbara) Brannstrom, dear uncle of 12 and great-uncle of two. Memorial Visitation Saturday, 4 p.m. until time of Memorial Service 7 p.m., at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion, Evanston, Post 42, 1030 Central St., Evanston, IL, 60201. We were shocked and sorry to hear about Jon's passing. We respected him as a person and admired his work. We're reminded of Jon when we sit with our newborn in the nursery that he painted last summer. We offer our sympathies to his family.
