John Whittin Obituary

Whittin, John D. age 66, blessed son of the late Marie H. Whittin and John B. Whittin. Deeply devoted husband of the late Fran E. Whittin. Beloved brother-in-law of Rick (Rita) Kaufman, Thomas (Stacey) Sheehan, Brian (Cher) Jacobsen, Perses Rathert, Mark (Kelly) O'Dette, loving uncle of Rick and Jeff Kaufman, Kelly, Remington, and Flynn Sheehan, Marie, Sherry, Diane, and Lisa Jacobsen, Jennifer Hern and Thomas Rathert, Riley and Max O'Dette and several great nieces and nephews. Johnny Whittin was an especially generous man who contributed to numerous charities. His kind and easy going nature will remain in our hearts forever. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 22nd at 7:30 p.m. at the Long Grove Community Church, 1110 Robert Parker Coffin Road, Long Grove, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the: Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4308, Railroad Ave. And Grand, Lake Villa, IL 60046, Attention: Joyce McCleod.
