Dear Uncle Johnny, not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I can't believe it's almost been 17 years. 17 years without you in my life has been hard. You've missed so much that I wish you were here for. I love you always. Thank you for stepping up my entire life and being the grandfather that wasn't in my life. I wish I had the chance to have told you that. Love you always, carla

Jan. 3rd was the worse day of my life. Even though they estimated you had pasted away on the 2nd, that was the day dad and Vic found you in your home. 13 years have gone by. I still think of you everyday! You took care of me growing up and stepped in and were the grandfather I never had. I'm grateful for all that you've done for me and the love that you showed me, even after your passing. Missing you everyday. Love you!!!!

John, you were a great friend and
snowmobiling partner. We met at the Northshore Auto Parts when I was
working there as a machinist. You
taught me a lot and I still have a couple of the specialty tools you
made for me.
I'll miss you Johnny.

Dear Uncle Johnny,

I want you to know I have many fond memories. Your warm smile and contagious laugh that came from your heart. You were a great listener, interested in what was going on with others. I remember ball games in our back yard and was amazed at your speed. I loved it when you took the time to push me on the rope swing. You pushed me so high. I was scared to death but never wanted you to know. I remember one Christmas, when some of your nieces and nephews gathered at Long Grove for the holiday. We were at the age where we weren’t really sure of the whole Santa thing. Grandpa Visoky made an awesome sleigh. My Dad, along with you and other relatives made believers out of us all …Sleigh tracks in the snow and even Santa’s cap caught on a limb, outside the chimney. I thought your hair was wild and your beard itchy with every hug and kiss. You gave the world a lot of joy.

Your neice, Lucy McCulloch

To everyone who knew his big heart.

Dear Uncle John,

I will truly miss you. You were my "cool" unlce - the one with the Indian motorcycle, the one with the corvettes, the one with the beard, the one who was responsible for George's go-cart, the one who taught me just how effective the finger squeeze could be on the knee or the shoulder when it came to containing the out-of-control energies of a nephew. The one who'd call me and everyone else "mate", before Steve Irwin (the Croc Hunter) even made the name popular. The one one, who would always offer his services to help family members and others... who would pitch-in and always do more than his fair share. I will always take part of you with me Uncle John and I want you to know its a good part. Thanks for the great times and the great memories. May you rest in peace.

Love, your nephew Steve Miller
and wife Lisa, sons Griffin 9, Nicholas 8, Zachary 4, Daughter Lauren 22, and her sons Ethan 1 1/2 yrs and Liam 3 mos old.

Dear Visoky Family,

I was so sorry to hear about Johnny's passing away. I started teaching at Wilmot School in Deerfield in 1953. I became Supt. in 1955 and recall the Visoky family name quite well. It is sad but I am hearing more and more of my past student's passing away. We are still living in Deerfield in the same home we moved into back in 1956.
Please be advised that Johnny and all of you are in our prayers.

Dear Family of Johnny ....
My heart felt sympathies to you. Johnny and I had shared so so many good times hunting and fishing. Memories are a wonderful tribute to a person. As we grow older our lives change and tend to go in different directions, but we still think of the Good Times..

Rest In Peace Johnny......
