We both met John down at Rush. Teri talked to him for a long time about there conditions. John joked with us that we had a mixed marriage (Cubs & Sox). The nurses referred to him as there favorite "John". John always had a smile, funny story, and hope. He will be missed.

Deepest condolences and may happy memories comfort all the family and friends as we grieve. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal. I will always remember John, and I feel blessed to have known him.
