My sincere condolences for his family. He was a very pleasant man. He was a great supporter of New Hope CORPS; and for that, I will always be grateful.

Candy, family of John and friends. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know John pretty well between 1980 and his retirement in 1996. I always had great respect for his leadership, his loyalty to The Northern Trust Company, his ability to quickly recognize, address and remedy issues needing attention and his ever present concern for his other family, his Northern family. He will be missed by the the many who were fortunate to know and become friends with him.
