I knew Jack through my father, Matt. We would go Jack's home in East Dundee on Sunday's and fish at his pond...we just called it "Jack's pond". I was always impressed with Jack's kindness and love for animals. He enriched our lives and I feel fortunate to have had the chance to know him.
