Strepek, John S. "Jack" 79, of West Dundee, beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Schweitzer), father of John E. (Connie), grandfather of David (Theresa) and Timothy (Tracy), great-grandfather of Jonathan, Kole, Audrey, Zoe and Lucas, brother of Raymond. Private family graveside services will be held in the Graceland Cemetery, Chicago. Memorials may be made to the Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 S. LaFox, South Elgin, IL, 60177. I knew Jack through my father, Matt. We would go Jack's home in East Dundee on Sunday's and fish at his pond...we just called it "Jack's pond". I was always impressed with Jack's kindness and love for animals. He enriched our lives and I feel fortunate to have had the chance to know him.
