Spellan, John P. beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Weinert), loving father of Sandy (David) Stewart, Sheri Barnes, Tracy (Joshua) Munk, John Spellan II and Dawn Spellan, dear grandfather of Amy (Ben) McLean, Kathleen (Justin) Piccico, Tracy, Felicia, Heather, Van III and Faith, dearest great-grandfather of Elizabeth, Joshua, Alexis and Andrew, fond brother of Pat, Marge (the late Glen) Cronk, Helen (Larry) Wilson and Nora (the late Skip) Larsen, fond uncle of many. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday, 9 a.m., from Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 State Rd. (5500 W), Burbank, IL, 60459, to St. Albert the Great Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name to the American Heart Association, Dept. 77-3968, Chicago, IL, 60678-3968, would be appreciated. Funeral info: 708-636-2320
