Scanlon, John J. 72, of Chicago, passed away December 21, 2004, beloved husband of Shirley, loving father of Don, Susan (Neil) Locke, Marlene (Rich) Wagner and the late John (Cheryle), dear grandfather of eight, best friend of Sparky and Tuffi, native of Liscannor County Clare, Ireland. Visitation Thursday, December 23, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago. Service and interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Anticruelty Society. For info. 773-736-2300
