Dear Marilyn and Family,

It is with great sorrow that I send you my deepest sympathy. I guess I'm one of the few left that knew John for 40+ years - since I was 12 growing up in Oak Park, IL. Your loss touched my heart deeply and I pray that God gives you the strength to endure. I have to believe that he is in a better place where there is no suffering and pain.

With Love,

Jeffrey Rabin

Dear Marilyn and family -

Though we have not met, I heard so much of you from John during my years of association with him -- first at Gateway and then when we renewed acquaintances at the Probation Department. He spoke with such pride of all of his family during our last talk. I just learned of his passing today and wish to extend my condolences. May his memory be a blessing forever. He certainly touched many people.

Dear Marilyn,

I'm so deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved husband John. I certainly didn't know him well. I did enjoy the conversations we all had over likes and dislikes of wallpaper selections, as you and John found the perfect paper to complete the rooms in your home. You and John were quite a team as

the two of you patiently flipped thru pages of books for hours on end. It was a pleasure to have know him for such a brief time.

God took him away from you and your family much to soon. I will keep you in my nightly prayers, during this extremely difficult time.

May God Bless you and your family.

in the days and months to come.

Fondly,

J.C.Lichts & Co.

Dear Marilyn, Adrienne and Chad,

My heart was so sad to hear of Johnny's passing. I have fond memories of him and all the times he was there to give a helping hand whether it be to get some Saturdays at First Offendors or get advice. He had a love for life and especially his family. I remember how proud he was of Marilyn's passing the bar and Chad's skating. Of course Adrienne was his baby girl always. He was a character that a movie could be written about. My sincere heartfelt sympathy goes out to you.

Love, Linda Reed

I believe that people enter your life for a reason and I thank God for letting John in mine. I have had the honor of calling him my friend for a number of years now and will treasure the memories and many laughs that we shared. I will miss him more than words can say and extend my deepest and most sincere condolences to his wife and children.
