I'm very sorry to hear of John's passing. My Aunt Betty Conlon was John's neighbor for many years in Park Ridge. At 84, she's now living at The Heritage in Des Plaines, and regrets not being able to attend the wake or funeral.
While clearing out her home, I came across a (circa 1943) photograph of John Ruxton and his neighbor Tom Conlon (still living) as new WW2 recruits dressed in their Army winter uniforms. I'd like to pass this along to John's descendents. Please contact via email.
