Pifke, John J. KOC age 88, Vet of WWII, passed away April 12th, beloved husband of the late Mildred, loving father of Susan (Ronald) James, cherished grandfather of Brian (Catherine), David (Ainsley) and Laura, adored great-grandfther of Meredith, fond brother of Kenneth (Marilyn) and the late Harriett (late Paul) Arendt, Raymond, Robert (late Gloria), dearest uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews, dear brother-in-law of Helen (late George) Hickey. John was an active member of the Knights of Columbus - Fr. Ryan Council #5025, Past Grand Knight and Past Faithful Navigator of Bishop Hillinger Assembly #1595 and a faithful and longtime active member of Queen of All Saints Basilica. Funeral Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., from the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., to Queen of All Saints Basilica for Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum.
