Pavlik, John Wenceslaus World War II Army Veteran, beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Bucyna), loving father of Kevin (Donna) Pavlik and Jenine (Kris) Povlsen, cherished grandfather of Jason, Joseph, Danielle, Kristian (Gretchen), Joi (Jarron) and Karissa, great-grandfather of Aidan, Connor and Kristian, dear brother Thomas Pavlik and Julie Pavlik, preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters, uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 8:45 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church for Mass at 9:30 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday and Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Retired maintenance engineer for the Village of Oak Lawn after 25 years retiring in 1984. 708-425-0500.

I worked with John at the Village for many years. He made me laugh
every day and always kept us feeling good each time. I saw him occasionally after he retired. A fine man, a good friend, his memory
will be eternal. My sympathy to all of you, his family.
