John Parr Obituary

Parr Jr., John Lawrence 76, went to Heaven March 30, 2007, loving husband of Hope, beloved son of the late John and Peggy Parr, dearest brother of Fred (Pat), Lola Parr and Anita (the late Darrel) Olson, dear uncle of Tom (Yvonne) Parr, Steve (Jodi) Olson, Lee (Sue) Olson and Leslie Shelby and great-uncle of Noah, Joseph, Elijah, Danielle, Gabriell, Jesseca and Stephanne Parr, Katherine, Timothy, Justine and Hannah Olson and Zachary and Alyssa Shelby. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. After retirement from Chicago Rotoprint he worked as a docent for 12 years in the Children's Zoo at Lincoln Park Zoo, in Chicago. Memorial services 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at the Fourth Presbyterian Church, 115 E. Delaware at Michigan Ave., in the Blair Chapel, entrance on Delware Pl., Chicago, IL. Interment private in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Kidney Foundation, 215 W.
