Pahr, John John Pahr, Age 88, WWII USCG and Korean War ASAF Veteran, beloved husband of 59 years to Therese (nee Hebel); loving father of Eugene (the late Tomasina) Pahr, Cynthia (Joseph) Stachovic, John (Marilyn) Pahr, Melanie O'Meara and Randall Pahr; Cherished grandpa of Michelle (Thorsten) Partsch, Sarah Bagley, Benjamin (Kristi) and Michael Pahr, Joseph (Kristin), Douglas, Brian and Kristin Stachovic, Michael and Mark O'Meara, John Pahr, Nicole Mottl, Amanda Pahr and the late Eugene Pahr; proud great-grandfather of 9; devoted son of the late Mathius and Emilia Pahr; dearest brother of Ruth Voight, Dorothy (the late Bernie) Glowacki, the late Ernst and Matthew Pahr; fond brother-in-law of Lorraine Pahr; dear uncle to many adoring nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday 3 to 9 PM at Lawn Funeral Home 7909 State Road (5500 W) Burbank, IL 60459. Lying in state Thursday 9 AM until time of service 10 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church 8607 S. Narragansett, Burbank, IL. Interment Chapel Hill Garden South Cemetery. John was a 40 year employee of the Belt Railway of Chicago and a longtime member of The Lutheran Church of the Cross.
