John O'Connor Obituary

Dear O'Connors,



For all of the Petersens, I send you our best wishes during this time of great loss and greater sorrow. Our mother died in February, so we understand what you are going through now. You have, as we do, strength in numbers and can lean on each other, love each other and cherish the moments you still have with your mother and each other.

Jack O'Connor is one of the truly great people in our lives. He was the epitome of Christian values; kind, loving, devoted and humble. My prayers are with the great O'Connor family, you all will never know how much you mean to the Byrne family.



A life lived to the greater glory of God. Jack is surely raised up on eagle's wings.

To the family of J.B. O'Connor, the staff at Murry's Auto Repair extends our deepest sympathy. J.B. was a loyal customer and kind friend to Murry's for many years. His dignity and humor will be missed.

Mrs. O, Susie (Pat), Dorthea, Bill (Katie), Matt, Petie and Carmel: I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm traveling this week but am there in spirit. Dad has lost a life-long friend. We always thought it was cool that, while we were playing basketball and football at the Chestnut House, Jack and Margaret were the ones who needed the chaperone in the family room!

I thank God for Mr. O'Connor, who, along with his beautiful bride, provided me and countless others with so many good people in our lives.

Dear Carmel and all of you wonderful O'Connor's. You were always our extended family. We love you all, and are praying for you during this difficult time.

Heidi and I send our deepest sympathies to all of you. I am unfortunately traveling; however, Heidi hopes to see most of you later today. Your dad is in our thoughts and prayers. He was a great husband, father, and friend.

Growing up on Ridge with Molly I saw Jack and Margaret often. Such a gentle,fun special man. I know that my George and Jack are playing a piano duet for the angels....

To Carmel and all the O'Connors, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad (and momo) were always so welcoming and kind to me during my visits throughout our college years. I'll always remember Mr. O' Connor getting a kick out of driving his rusty old jeep around Palm Springs and hitting golf balls off the porch at Dilly. He was a very special man and his wonderful family is his legacy. My thoughts are with all of you. Love, Jane

Mike and I send our love to your wonderful family. Even though we are not "kin," we have always felt the connection through our girls and through all your family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear O'Connor Family, All the Walls are so sad about your father's passing. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to talk with him awhile at the grandchildrens' graduation party. He was his usual humble, self-deprecating, witty self. And I'll always be grateful to him for playing "The South Side of Chicago" on the piano for me! Love and prayers for you.

My condolences to the O'Connor family. Jack was a dear friend of my grandfather, Thomas Benz and the O'Connor family has been close to my mother Mary Patricia Benz and the rest of the Benz family.
