John "Eugene" Nestor, born in Quinaltagh, County Galway, Ireland, passed away February 11, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved brother of Patrick (late Anna), Late Frank (Eve), Brendan (Ann), Late Phyllis, Jimmy (Mary), Eileen (Marc) Marrufo, Raymond (Clodagh), Carmel, Late Kieran, Joan, and Anne; Cherished son of the late Thomas and Aggie (nee Quinn); Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th Street, Chicago Ridge to St. Linus Church, 10300 Lawler Avenue, Oak Lawn for Mass 9:30 a.m.; Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery; In lieu of flowers donations to the Les Turner ALS foundation, http://lesturnerals.org would be appreciated. My name is Michael Hughes because when I arrived here in 1977 I lived on the South side for only a short time and then moved to the North West side of Chicago and I have lived here ever since . Because of this most of you don´t know me. You might have known my late Brother John or the late Agnes Mahoney My Sister. You probably know James ( Jimmy ) Eugene Was a real nice guy and over more than 40 years he was very generous with his time as a volunteer at Gaelic Park. He was one of the first people that I met shortly after I arrived.He was a Galway man but where he grew up was on the very edge of Mayo. My family and I extend our most sincere Condolences to his family R .I. P.
