Mary Jo and Family
My sympathy and condolences on the passing of your father. I remember meeting your Dad when I was younger but that was a long time ago. I know you and your sister from The Propati family that lived on Stewart Avenue. Hopefully your Father had a great life and career. I believe my late Uncle Louis Bertoletti knew your Dad from International Harvestor. Again my best to the entire Nasko family. Rick Bertoletti

Dear Mary Jo:
I was very sorry to hear about your Dad. It's been so long (we were kids) that I don't know if you remember me. We were in school together at St. Catherine of Genoa. I have some good memories of your father's humor at the house on the South Side... Please extend my condolences to your Mom and your sister and brother.
Take good care,
Gwen LaCosse
P.S. If you ever have time, please e-mail me. I'd like to hear about your art-related career. My address is: [email protected].

Dear Mrs. Rosann Nasko,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family on your loss. You may not know me but I used to work in the 70s with John, your son, and Nancy at the Chicago Tribune's 10th floor, where I still work. I am not sure if John and Nancy remember me. They are welcome to view the newly refurbished 10th floor.
May the loving support of your family and friends carry you through this time of sorrow.
Sincerely,
Ver Soriano

I seldome read the death notices in the news paper. To-day I did and saw an old friends name.I was a young boy of 19, just over from Ireland and hired by International Harvester Export Div.,Sept. 1947. John Nasko and I became GOOD FRIENDS and went to lunch often. After three years I was transferred to the Motor Truck Div. From there I am sure John followed my career.I Iater worked for Mayor Richared J. Daley for 20 years as his commissioner of equipment and services; purchased a lot of I.H. equipment.
John Nasko was a fine catholic GENTLEMAN. I am pleased he enjoyed a long life and a great family. John would like to know that Barbara and I have 4 sons and one daughter and 22 Grand children. We will remember John F. Nasko at mass on Sunday.

To Rosanne and the Nasko family - My sincerest condolences on the loss of your husband/father. He was, without question, one of the finest men I have ever known - a true gentleman in every sense of the word. A man of quiet dignity and grace. He touched many lives through his devotion to his family and friends, his church community, and his life of service to others.
May he rest in peace. He will be genuinely missed and always remembered fondly.
