Nars, John J. 86, of Goose Lake, passed away Tuesday May 12, 2009. John was a devoted and loving husband of 64 years to Geraldine, beloved father to: Rodney (Irene) of Chicago, David (Diane) of Goose Lake and Thomas (Lisa) of Wheeling and proud and loving grandfather to four. Visitation will be Thursday May 14, 2009 from 3 to 9 p.m. at REEVES FUNERAL HOME, 75 N. Broadway in Coal City. Funeral Mass will follow Friday at 10 a.m. in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Morris. Preferred memorial in lieu of flowers to Joliet Area Community Hospice or the Morris Moose Lodge #967 appreciated. Uncle John as I knew him had a terrific gift of gab and warm personality. He wore a car out every year with the long travel days while he was still working. John never slowed down and made the most of his time on Earth. He'll be missed by many.
