Matar, John S. age 79, of Matteson, formerly of Chicago. Army Veteran WWII. Beloved husband of Joann H. (nee Smola), loving step-father of Deborah (Ron) Gorniak; dear grandfather of Stephanie (Keith) Krizka and Adam Gorniak; great grandfather of Keith Krizka, fond brother of Russ (Ginger) and Sam (Angela) Matar, Tillie (the late Jack) Short and Norma (Paul) Double. Visitation Saturday, March 25, 2006, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11 a.m. at The Church of the Holy Family, Sauk Trail at Orchard Dr., Park Forest, IL. Interment private. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Illinois. For info., 847-577-6505.
