Lietz, John T. 87, of Harwood Heights, preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth (nee Girard), beloved father of Stephen Lietz (Kate Bogardt), Donna (Kendall Horstman), Diane (Brian Stuart), Carol Lietz, Arlett Lietz, Rita (Peter Antosh), Caryn (Wayne Thomas), David Lietz, proud grandfather of nine; Bryce and Gavin Dod, Hilary, Mark and Rob Antosh, Eric, Justin and Caroline Thomas, Jacob Lawlor. He was a WWII Naval Veteran. His greatest joys were family, classic music and many friends. He will be missed by all. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, at Our Lady Mother of the Church, 8747 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago. Memorial Mass will be held immediately following at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA, 22312 or Hospice of N.E Illinois, 410 S. Hager St., Barrington, IL, 60010.
