Michelle; I have been trying to put into words the comfort that I wish I could give to you and the love that I wish I could make you feel. But in the spirit of respecting the loss that you and the boys are feeling (we all feel the loss but not as you do...) I will not dismiss this with a flippant comment that this will all be ok. I want you to know that my heart aches for you and the boys deeply. That said, one day perhaps a day that seems so far away now, you will find solace in knowing that John has to be with the Lord surely, and that he was a wonderful man as he lived among the rest of us. When I think of John, I rememmber his laugh and truly, if that is one of the things he leaves behind to be remembered by, what a remarkable person he must have been. I am fervantly praying for you and Michael and Johnny. My love and prayers, Su

Michelle, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of John. You and the boys are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. I would see John at least 3 times a week, delivering bread to Papa Joe's in the early morning as I waited in the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru for my coffee or driving down 94th Avenue.....with the love of your family and friends God will guide you to somehow find an inner peace. Love,

Michelle, Johnny and Michael,

It's hard to believe someone so full of life has gone from us. Only two weeks ago, he came to my rescue as I sat on I294 with a flat tire. He gave his all, whether it was chairing the Ron Santo Walk for JDRF, taking care of us in Pack 69 at Camp Shin Go Beck, or coaching Michael's baseball team. Too good for this world.

We love you guys!!!

For me, I'll always remember him for his wonderful sense of humor. To think it all started with a pair of red shoes. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Call should you need anything.
