Kowalik, John G. WWII Marine Corps Veteran; John was a Pearl Harbor survivor, Carlson Raider (Long Patrol), Guadalcanal, Kwajalein and Saipan. Beloved husband of the late Anne W. (nee Fuja); loving father of Dr. Michael (Linda) Kowalik, Joan (Michael) O'Brien and the late Colette Kowalik; cherished brother-in-law of Stephene (the late Eldridge) Wall; dearest uncle of Janice, Judy and Bob. Visitation Friday 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral mass 11:15 a.m. at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 S. Wolf Road, Western Springs. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
