Kontalonis, John "Yianni" George beloved husband of the late Vasiliki "Kiki" (nee Kyriacopoulos) devoted and loving father to Eleni "Helen" and Panagiota "Pauline" (Wayne Underwood). He is survived by brother Thanassi (late Eleni), brother in laws Arisitides (Georgia) George (Katerina) Kyriacopoulos, Papa Yianni to Sparti and Harley. Many nephews, nieces and friends. He preceded in death by his parents, George and Eleni nee Petroulias, sisters the late Dina (the late Demo) Devekos, the late Maria (Kostas) Arahovitis, the late Veneta (the late Sotiris) Diantgikis, brothers the late Kostas (Anna), the late Christos (Panagiota), the late Theodore and the late Angelo. brother/sister-in-law Bobby (Panagiota), Christos, and Georgia Kyriacopoulos. Visitation Sunday, 4pm to 9pm at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, (2mi. west of 79th and Harlem), Justice, IL. Family and friends are asked to gather on Monday at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church, 733 South Ashland, Chicago, IL for a visitation 9:00 am to 10:00 am and Service to follow at 10am.
