Dear Pat and family,
Char and I were so sorry to hear of John's death, he was such a caring and generous person. The life of the party and always had great stories to tell. John and I were best friends our entire lives. Whenever I couldn't recall something even as far back as grammar school, I could call him and he would remember. Our monthly luncheons will never be the same without John's presence. He will never be forgotten and will always be in our prayers.

Kelley Family: Or deepest sympathy to you & will always remember happy times when we lived in Hoffman with John & all of you. Had such a kick with the family in Little League & John being our consulting manager off the field to guide us. Will miss him & his great presence in whatever endeavor was in his path.

Your father was such a great husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa,and friend to so many, that his absence from this world will be felt by soooo many. Our hearts go out to you and the entire Kelley family during this tragically sad time. Just know how loved he was, and maybe that will give you some comfort. He was truly a great man!

I knew John; worked for him in his Schaumburg office back in 1979-1981. Great family man and attorney; so many people owed him, didn't pay him for years -- he was very generous. ALMOST to a fault!!
