Almost a year has passed and I still think of you all of the time. Even though you are no longer suffering- and for that I am greatful- I still miss you so much and wish you were here.
I hope you are looking down at all of us now with the sly-ish grin that always comes to mind when I think of you.
I LOVE YOU!

Uncle John, when I think of you I think about how your laugh created laughter, your voice provided calm. But most importantly your strength brings us all inspiration. I can not express in words, thoughts, or tears how much we will all miss you. You did what you wanted to do, how you wanted to do it...you lived your life your way! I cant imagine a world without someone like you, but I can only imagine what the heavens have gained with you!! I know you will be a strong guardian of your family, and will keep Aunt JoAnne and Johnny safe. Miss you, Love You, Dale

Uncle John~ You were a fighter until the last second you graced this world with your presence. Your heroic amount of strength and courage humble me every day. You were a man of few words, but you made sure that each of those words counted, and they certainly held special meaning to me. I will miss your devilish laugh and smile, your warm hugs, and your calming presence. You will always be one of my heroes.
Aunt Joann and Johnny, please know that we are all thinking and praying for you and hoping God will give you strength during this difficult time.
