I was so sorry to hear of John's death. I remember with great pleasure all the years of block parties and gatherings on Merry Court, and your folks were a great addition to those wonderful festivities. It was a joy to all of us to watch all "the kids" grow up! John will be missed.

To the family of John Holland:

My condolences to John's family. I worked with John at Essex Wire and Cable in Chicago many years ago. Although I knew him briefly, I liked him very much. I assume that by the notice in the obit that cancer invaded your lives. I lost my mom to cancer almost 5 years ago now, and I know what a struggle it is. My heart goes out to you all.
