To the best "Papa Higgy".

To a good friend "Jackie".

To our Dad.

Life already is not the same.

We will miss you always and remember you sweetly.

Dear Jack,

You were always a character, and a big part of my life when I was growing up......I just thought you would always be around. I will miss you, and hope you are at peace! Hope Roseanne takes you back! I know then you will truly be happy! Your funeral was perfect! You did a very nice job, and I am proud of you that you planned ahead, and tried not to be a burden on the kids. You would have been proud to see the Marines there.

Love, Elaine

Mr. Higens was a main stay for us here at the VA West Side Medical Center. He always had a joke, a smile and even through sickness never lost his zest for living. I will greatly miss his smiling face and his just stopping by.
