Giannone, John Veteran WWII, beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Armidano), devoted father of John A. (Mary Terese) and the late Monica, fond grandfather of Geena and Anthony, loving great-grandfather of Lisa, Brianna and Anthony, dear brother of Chuck (Gigi) Cannon-Giannone, Tillie, Dollie, Sister Deborah and the late Nick, Michael, and Antoinette, fond brother-in-law of Josephine Miletta, Ann (the late Joseph) Miletta, Philomena (Mike) Michalec and the late Emily (George) DeFelice, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of the Chicago Web Printing Pressmen's Union #7. Funeral services Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. For info., 773-889-1700.
