Thank you to everyone who signed this guest book and more. My dad loved your visits at the Villa. I had some wonderful visits with him there myself. Thank you to everyone who visited with my dad one last time. I treasured all of the stories you shared with me and my family. I learned so much more about my complex dad from all of your stories. He loved you all so much. He is with me every day, and ready to listen all of the time! I find wonderful comfort and peace in his presence. Dad, I'm glad I've gotten to know and understand you better. We have all always been here for you. Thank you for being here for us. Rest in peace in the glory of God. All my love, Mary Pat

To All the Gallaghers -
Your dad was a huge part of our family and we so enjoyed sharing in his life and the holidays we were fortunate to spend with him. We know he will continue to watch over all those he loved and cared for ... I am sure he was watching over me last Wednesday. Your dad provided much love, humor, advice and guidance to all of us. He will be missed greatly but will remain a part of all who knew him. He is truly one of the great ones and I will keep Tom's words of "friends close and family closer" to remember him by. What a wonderful send off you gave him ... he would be so proud of his family coming together to honor him in such a beautiful celebration of his life. How fortunate his grandchildren had the extra time with their grandfather. With love to all of you, Cathy, Tim, Tim and Colleen O'Connor (and all the Mulcahy's)

Dear Gallagher Family:
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. I have fond memories of him and your family as we grew up on the West Side and later in Villa Park. As a I continued my professional career I had several opportunities to go to the County Board meetings to represent the Village of Palatine as a municipal planner. I normally presented an adversially postion from the County, but Jack would give me a "nice job" as I left the meeting. I also remember going to a Stewart's Club dinner meeting with my father and Jack Gallagher was the master of ceremony. What fun to listen to him and what a great orator he was.

As John Hannon's youngest daughter, I have so many fond memories of your dad. I worked at the County Comptroller's office my senior year in college and was a frequent visitor to the Auditor's office. He was a special man, proud to be Irish! He will be missed!
