Our deepest sympathy, prayers and condolences go out to the Galdyn family. We are very sorry for your loss. My family and I have been fortunate enough to have known John for many many years since my early childhood when we became neighbors in Chicago back in 1985. From that day on, John was always there for my family and I, and especially for my parents when they were in need of a helping hand. It would always remain that way, even until farely recently when John was already sick, he still found the time to help them lay sod at his request. That is just the kind of person John was, he always put others before himself, and I know he is being rewarded for it up in Heaven. John was a great friend; kind, good hearted, and an all around great person. The kind of person that anyone would have considered themselves lucky to have come across at least once, and even luckier to have personally known, and his presence in our lives will be forever missed. May God bless and be with his family in their time of sorrow. May God also be with you John, and may you rest in eternal peace, you are now with your father and sister in Heaven. Until we meet again someday my friend.

My prayers go out to the Galdyn family and also the Gron family. I lived in the Brighton Park neighborhood and was friends with John and his cousin Albert who lived across the street from me. I am truly sorry for your loss.
