During my two appointments as the U.S. Marshal I had several occasions to consult with John on operational and educational issues. Many people in the law enforcement operations and training arena will miss John. I always enjoyed his visits at the Marshal's Office. I first learned about Tiffin U. through John.

We at Tiffin University were sorry to learn of John's passing. He was a good colleague. I will miss his phone calls.
