Funeral Monday, 11:00 a.m. from Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th St. just west of Harlem) to St. Daniel the Prophet Church, Mass 11:30 a.m. Cremation private. My prayers and condolences go out to the Ewald family. I wish I would have known in time to attend the wake. I remember when they first moved to Laflin Street. John was told by Norman Storch to take a jump rope that belonged to me. Norman wanted to see what I would do to John for taking it. I only wish we all could have stayed in touch throughout the years. Mary Mingroet was just asking about the Ewald boys. I had no information to give her until now. So sorry to find out about such sad news.

I just found out about an hour ago from Lexie Martinez.I no longer live in Chgo,retired in UT.My deepest condolences & to all the good times that we had growin up on Laflin St.He will forever be in my prayers & thoughts.GOD SPEED JOHN !!! Jimmy Maciaszek
