John was an old soul with a gentle spirit. I will miss the times we shared: having dinner at my house, playing with my children, playing music with my husband. He was the kind of person that you loved to have around, who could always make you laugh and you could never stay mad at. Our Prayers and blessings are with his family and dear Brigid, his memory will forever be present in our lives. Rest in peace dear friend. Love, sheila

A bright shining light in my life has dimmed, but his memory still casts a long shadow in my heart. John had a kindness and sweet demeanor that has comforted me since we were kids. What a blessing to have had him as my friend. Love and comfort to my sweet Dorn family.
Love.

John left us much too early. He was kind to everyone who met him, no matter at what level the relationship.
Our thoughts are with his family.

As graduates of the same Jr. High school, John and I shared a place in time forever innocent & peaceful. I pray John played his life's song just the way he wanted to hear it and have it be heard.
Cheers, John! May you find peace watching us remember you, because remembering will bring us peace.

Love and condolences from a childhood friend as he brought humor and and the kindness of his friendship. He was very dear, and will be missed by one who always thought, from many states away, she would see him again, and remembers him well; once, in Junior High, running through the driving rain in between classes to get aspirin at the drugstore for a classmate, Karen, who was suffering with a blinding headache, officially the first time I saw a boy among my peers behaving chivalrously. I remember him standing tall and moving gracefully, and always with a presence that expressed confidence, and kindness towards others. Much love to John's family and loved ones. I will be with you all in spirit at your gatherings this week.
